Morale is very, very low here. Ambulances are tired and not well maintained. Being a "staging company" isn't fun. The station is always dirty."

They mess with people all the time, it's a wonder why they don't have a revolving door on the place, one way GOING OUT. "Always had the best equipment available to better manage patient care, Some of the best coworkers to work with. Never had a bounced check. Volunteered Medicars during holiday for Tour of Lights a way to get the geriatrics in nursing homes out to see the Christmas lights"

"Enjoy your time here - the company does want its employees to grow, offering a paramedicreimbursement program, and good benefits. Learn what you can from your coworkers, they are always helpful."

What don't you like about working at A-TEC Ambulance?

"Mismanaged, unneeded layoffs, only to decide that things were better off the way they were shortly after. Changed to micromanaging with the addition of operations managers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please get rid of the backstabbing administrators, and spend some more time in the field before you decide that cutbacks look good on paper and are less practical. Provide better training for station managers."

What do you like about working at A-TEC Ambulance?

"Opportunities for patient care, learned A LOT of great things there. Really helped refine my assessmentskills, EKG and IV therapy skills. Great medical provider because of the doorway that ATEC helped me walked through."

What don't you like about working at A-TEC Ambulance?

"Mismanaged. They could DO A LOT better with the tools they have. They reward the D-students in much the same way they do their A-students... no real room for advancement/ growth, no call bonuses."
