"I was very fortunate to belong to a organization, that being Fletcher Library and not ASU in general, that promoted continuous professional growth and fostered personal interests. They were a very supportive group of people and the folks at Fletcher were among the best to work with."

"Wait until ABOR highers a new president before applying."

What don't you like about working at Arizona State University?

"The current university administration has turned the university into a very hostile place in which to work. They operate out of fear and brow beating."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None. As mentioned, Fletcher Library was a great place to work and I do miss working there, but ASU in general has become an employee's nightmare for both the support staff and faculty."

"It was a nice work experience. The work I did in the internship gave me a very valuable idea of what it would be to work on an industry setting."

"I did not actually work for the University other than the internship but I know the value people that are able to bring in fresh ideas"

"Not paid internship so no room to grow but overall it was a great experience. I wish I had this experience earlier during my time at ASU."

"They did a great job, I would like for them to promote more this program though."

"If you accept a position with Residence Life, I promise you will regret it everyday you're there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't believe anything anyone in Residence Life promises you about a position in their department. They LIE! They will force you to work 45+ hours every week even when you're hired for a 50% (20 hours per week) job. The residence halls are falling apart and full of roaches... even the new halls because they don't spend enough money on maintaining the buildings."

What don't you like about working at Arizona State University?

"The gross incompetence of many of the mid and senior management staff in Residence Life."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promote Timothy Smith to Director of Residential education. He's the only person in the Residential Education department that has a clue about how to treat people, supervise staff, and educate and shape young minds."
