"It taught me a lot about customer service and helped me improve my people skills. Before I worked there I had a hard time just going up to people and talking to them but now I can talk to anyone no matter who they are."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"As long as you can get to work they will most likely hire you."

What don't you like about working at Associated Grocers?

"The pay wasn't good unless you were a manager and even then you could easily make more at other jobs. They also didn't give you a choice whether you wanted to work holidays or not you just had to wait until the schedule came out to see if you worked them. We were always open on Christmas Eve."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The management at the Associated Food Stores, most of the time, thought that they were better than everyone else and that didn't make it a fun place to work."

"Work is not appreciated. IT Management has many problems with morale."

"Remove all 3 IT managers and start from scratch."
