"To be professional, friendly, and eager to be a part of the company. A great attitude goes a long way."

"Management was not always effective at managing the engineering groups, and many employees were unhappy and left the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to be more involved with the employees, and hire more people when others leave. There were not enough people in the group to cover all the work required."

"The company was located near to my house and it was convenient for me to reach there."

"Personally, I don't feel like anyone come and interview on this company."

"There was no growth opportunity. The company never provided any training to further shape skills of employee."

"Management need to be focused on employees needs and evaluate it frequently."

"I do not like the micro management, and unorganized management."

"provide a clear solid outline of task to employees, and be assistant."

"The work culture is cool and employee benefits for an individual."

"Be cool and honest while giving interview. its not such a tough job"

"No compensation amount or holiday for extra work on holiday."

"Everything is cool except the compensation for holiday work they don't provide."

"Laid back dress code and some freedom in daily schedule."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The only reason to take a job at Emerson Process Management is to fill your resume. Do not plan on staying beyond 5-years and definitely do not get stuck thinking that this is a place for your life-long career. That said if you're interviewing at Emerson Process Management the chances are good that you are in Manilla or Poland, and not in the USA because they no longer hire domestically, so I am not sure how it compares in those countries."
What don't you like about working at Emerson Process Management?
"Emerson Process Management is stuck in the past. It's a company full of dinosaur all waiting to take retirement and unwilling to share their knowledge and experience so as to not chip away at their job assurance. The CEO pushes his and the company's Republican agenda onto employees causing Emerson to be the number one contributor to Rep. Akin and his moronic belief that a woman's body shuts down to prevent pregnancy during legitimate rape. The environment lacks true processes and practices leading to a product of such poor quality that it may likely become the companies downfall."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Wouldn't push personal politics onto employees; wouldn't claim everything is going well while refusing to hire domestically and continuing the 5-year salary freeze (especially when starting salaries are already less than competitive)."

"Massive wealth of technical expertise inside the company. Flexible work schedule, good work-life balance, acceptable salary."

"Adhere to the STAR interview guidelines. Talk about what you know and what YOU have done, not your team."
What don't you like about working at Caterpillar?
"Corporate atmosphere, hard to advance career, engineering not valued at the business level, boring cost reduction work, location in Peoria is terrible."

"I would modernize the companies' facilities and workforce tools. We are out-gunned in software and computing technologies that our competitors are utilizing every day."

"Decent Compensation, Downtown Location, Some coworkers, Comp hours for overtime worked,"

"Show good knowledge of your subject area and show an eagerness to work hard. Be prepared to travel as needed."

"The work is dry and not creative enough for my tastes."

"More private work spaces, get rid of company wide intercom paging system, better training/mentoring for young workers."

"Very good prospectus company. they are great at works in all technologies."

"Some time management do some cost reduce which is illogical."

"Be kind and find the root causes and see your back"

"The short version is, they paid well, far better than my previous job."

"Always ask if the contract is up for review or bid. If it is, make sure it is not part of a soon to be retired software that you are being hired to support."

"Never physically met my boss in Virginia, it would have been nice."

"Make sure the HR people are aware of the status of any contract they are hiring for. Don't hire for contracts that haven't been renewed."

"Good steady work fair supervisor, good training, excellent client base."

"Good luck, pay fairly for work done, age discrimination is illegal so is working OT with no pay."

"Would not give me an increase, although I had most # of calls taken and highest customer sat. and exceeded SLAs."

"Get a grip, pay fairly and you will get better people."
