What don't you like about working at Buffalo Exchange?
"I enjoyed the work. It was fun and in my field of interest. I learned quite a bit. It paid $8.50per hour with no room for growth and that wasn't enough for me."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It's alright as a starting rate, but you need to compensate a job well done. Otherwise, your employees will feel like they're being taking advantage of and some tend to look elsewhere."

"Challenging; you see your work come to fruition with items brought to store shelves and sales."

"At times multiple projects require careful balance with time constraints when working for 3 people."

"Design a system to collect feedback/ideas for improvement from your employees across the entire east coast and put some into action"

"State the facts without embellishment. The hiring manager is very likely an expert in his field."

"Prior industry specif experience required (i.e., instrument manufacturing). Where else can you get that"

"Good company, has grown a lot in the past years. Not what it was when Sam was there, but to be expected."
What do you like about working at Walmart?
"Education! It was there for you to take advantage of, but limited to a specific line (i.e, merchandising, marketing, etc). At the time I was there, very little cross training going on."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"Again, this was a long time ago (14 yrs). Lot of double standards, very ridgid structure. Not family friendly. Management way overloaded and most hourly's as well. It's changed some, but still has a way to go."

"Get back to your core customer, you are losing site of them."

"Federated/Macy's Inc was like boot camp for buying/merchandising. I found that the experience there trained me to succeed in this field."

"There were certain personalities that were lacking in appeal."

"Temper some of the personalities in the organization to create a more welcome professional/business environment."

"Professionalism, and top knowledge of the company is key."

"tasks of several job titles for one person. Wish they would have had room for more hires so that staff had more time to concentrate on alloted tasks."

"Take money from the budget from something else, and use it to put more staff on the payroll for better concentration efforts for each individual staff members tasks."
