"Corporate buyout by Epsilon made things rough on a lot of us, resulting in many layoffs. Otherwise the IT department, while unstable, has some solid guys running it. The project managers however, vary between technically competent and clueless."

"Are you lacking talent, but HOT We have a spot for you!"

What do you like about working at Aspen Marketing Services?

"The golf outings were fun, but being the drunk fests that they were, some who couldn't hold their liquor put a damper on things. It was a friendly atmosphere most of the time, until things went wrong and the blame game started."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are a real, down-to-earth person who is honest and has good morals and karma, don't buy into the promises they offer. If you are a former cheerleader, jock, or used car salesman with little to no talent, you are definitely a fit for this company - as long as you buddy up and brown nose the upper management."

What don't you like about working at Aspen Marketing Services?

"Blatant favoritism. Also, if you are Barbie Doll hot, you can do whatever you want - just keep showing the cleavage. A sense of job insecurity leads many to not want to work together, for fear of having someone steal your job. Taking credit for someone else's work and blaming them when you mess up is not a good way to build trust. TOO MANY EGOS AND ATTITUDES!!!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Huston, we have a problem. It's unbelievable how one person can make so many enemies. And, despite having employees with an obvious lack of true talent, giving them promotions based on favoritism is appalling. Put the baseball bat down and take a serious look at what is really going on behind the blonde curtain."
