"Corporate buyout by Epsilon made things rough on a lot of us, resulting in many layoffs. Otherwise the IT department, while unstable, has some solid guys running it. The project managers however, vary between technically competent and clueless."

"I don't feel confident in the work that I'm performing. I come from an events planning background and I'm currently working in direct mail and catalog work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More opportunities for growth as there isn't many opportunties to work for a diverse client load. Saying thank you to employees and I don't mean by $$$. Small perks like letting employees leave early on an occasional Friday or around a holiday weekend. Our work space is dimal with cubicles over 20 years old with outdated fixtures, paint, etc. New paint and artwork even from Target would be a drastic improvement and wouldn't cost much."

"Working with the people and management was great. You are put in a position to learn many things. You have the opportunity to speak your mind about any and everything. Your imput is welcomed at all levels."

"With all the downsizing valuable people are let go and everyones workload has increased two fold. Stress has become an issue for some employees. Not much room for advancement."

"The golf outings were fun, but being the drunk fests that they were, some who couldn't hold their liquor put a damper on things. It was a friendly atmosphere most of the time, until things went wrong and the blame game started."

"If you are a real, down-to-earth person who is honest and has good morals and karma, don't buy into the promises they offer. If you are a former cheerleader, jock, or used car salesman with little to no talent, you are definitely a fit for this company - as long as you buddy up and brown nose the upper management."

"Blatant favoritism. Also, if you are Barbie Doll hot, you can do whatever you want - just keep showing the cleavage. A sense of job insecurity leads many to not want to work together, for fear of having someone steal your job. Taking credit for someone else's work and blaming them when you mess up is not a good way to build trust. TOO MANY EGOS AND ATTITUDES!!!"

"Huston, we have a problem. It's unbelievable how one person can make so many enemies. And, despite having employees with an obvious lack of true talent, giving them promotions based on favoritism is appalling. Put the baseball bat down and take a serious look at what is really going on behind the blonde curtain."

"unless you are IT or don't mind playing games, don't go there.. the San Diego office is having its own issues (having laid off people every quarter since 01/2008) . Not an EEO employer - they dont care about clients - no checks or balances - too much time wasted on petty items"

"the amount of favoritism allowed by certain management (who really didn't qualify as manager or supervisor)."

"get rid of the romper room employees who do nothing else besides come in @ 6a-230p or earlier, play games on their PCs, violate rules and don't seem to care. Productive employees make it happen, like me - I worked many hours to get installations accomplished, only to be laid off for lack of work - I did a lot of stuff that the associates didn't want to do, didn't care to do, etc."
