"I have worked with Appreciation Financial for almost 5 years. I love the original mission to help educators understand their pension and help them save and protect their savings. The model and concept is wonderful. The carriers we represent offer good products. The company is still fairly young but has grown in support and structure. The company, however, has a MLM structure to compensation and they have changed their comp plan several times since I've been working there. They have moved their vesting requirements which in itself may not be so bad ,but at the same time they have also lowered their commission payout percentages making it more difficult for most to reach those thresholds. In addition, they continue to increase their fees to the agents and find new ways to add a fee for their processing paperwork. They nickel and dime agents."
