"They do not value employee loyalty and knowledge as soon as they get third party to do their job it was good."

"None, their turnaround time was so fast that you can't remember the name of the manager - Nothing to add."

"The empowerment given to you as a contractor to make decision base up on your knowledge of the application you were working with."

"When presenting yourself as a candidate for any job interview to let them you if you speak any other language - It is beneficial at the long run"

"The commute time that I had since they are located in Alabama and I am living in California"

"None, Just to give kudos to them and the managerial way of working - It was very effective"

"Work culture and work timings, roles and responsibilities and tools available."

"Career growth, and no consideration of associate work exp, technologies."

What do you like about working at Epicor Software?
"The co-workers worked together like a family. I have returned when they hosted blood drives to give blood and see former co-workers (who are all nervous about when the ax will fall on them)."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't look at this for more than a very short term gig."
What don't you like about working at Epicor Software?
"Soon after corporate (in California) bought a similar company in Montreal, the sales reps were instructed to sell the Canadian product and now they are told to try to upgrade existing customers to the Canadian product. It appears that corporate is only looking to keep Sales and Help Desk Support in the Newburgh office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Instead of letting the US workers go, why not cross train them so that they will be valuable to the product that is taking the place of what we worked on. The US workers already know the businesses of our customers which is a benefit no mater which system is being supported."

"Good operational management public utility. However Board of Directors that thought they were a planniig rather than a service agency, eco and politically fanitical."

"If you like the security of a go vernment job (and not real pressure or push to improve, great) If you are a go getter, get another job."

"Typicalpublic employement laziness. People frequently not all that interested in doing things as quickly and efficiencly as possible, some employees spent more time making golf reservations than working."

"Tolerate less chit-chat and socializing among your reports."

"They gave me my first opportunity out of college. I got good experience in COBOL and they allowed me to move into another position and ger lots of exerience in Java development."

"The fact that they decided to outsource my job to a company in India."

"Don't outsource your IT development and support to India."
