"The political issues and environment the workplace has been for a very long time."

"I have given management the idea of growing the culture into one that cares about its most precious resources which is it's people."

"There is nothing that I like about working at Apollo Group."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not accept the job, unless the culture has turned around. The workforce is extremely disengaged and the upper management don't care about the lower levels. They cut all of our benefits and then made a big deal about how the executive members were not taking an annual increase. As if I care, they make 4-5 times what I make. The upper management blatantly lies in company communications. They claimed they were going to prorate merit increase, but what they really did was delay the merit month by ~6 months and then cut the maximum increase in half. That's NOT a proration!"

What don't you like about working at Apollo Group?

"The upper management is extremely out of touch with the employees. They reduced the employee bonuses because employee engagement was low."

"Actually pay attention to the employees and not pretend to."

"Laid back, low stress, no drug testing. I can be trusted to get my work done in a timely manner."

"Go work somewhere else. The amount of organizational changes makes it hard to follow processes, and get direction."

"The actual work is boring and detrimental to career path."

"Stop reorganizing the company every year. Set initiatives and direction."

"I like the family-oriented culture and ability to innovate here."

"They are very easy on work-life balance but it is very hard to get promoted in IT."

"Process is always broken or subverted in the interest of getting things done so things get done poorly"

"I am not really certain that there is much you can change on a company this big. I would like to make it more about the employee than the bottom line, but then again, a CEO is typically hired to improve the bottom line."

"Very little to nothing. Students pay their dues and get their piece of paper."

"Don't bother. It is as cloe to a diploma mill that you can get."

"My association with a poor brand. Teaching students who are being deceived that their diplomas are worth much."

"Imrove all aspects and re-launch, and provide a quality product to their customers."

"Very big organization, creates challenges to making things done, and hard to know who makes decisions."

"I would focus more on start-ups, emerging educational technology and the future of online learning outside traditional degrees."

"There will be challenges to overcome working through the misalignment between customers, product owners, and engineering. A tip in overcoming these challenges may be to find a balance between working within the product management short-comings and maintaining professional integrity."

"Keep an open mind and a sense of humor because at times you will be required to take training and preform duties that do not apply to our business model (such as title 4 funding)."

"Small company direction and needs were not congruent with larger corporate holdings direction."
