"Situations beyond my control. Company was sold, my great boss retired, the company was parted out and the remaining pieces divided into 2 new companies."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have no suggestions for them (I've been gone a year), but wish them well. Many of the top notch people I worked with have been laid off or terminated. I don't understand that rationale at all."
