"Don't think that AOL is a place where the tech guys are like the consumers of AOL. AOL provides amazing opportunities with new technologies and challenges beyond all but an elite few companies with tens and hundreds of thousands of servers."

What don't you like about working at AOL?

"CEO-level management was incompetent. I have heard the new CEO is considered quite good among the rank and file."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My immediate management were quite good. They believed in keeping their worker insulated from management politics."
