  "Get to work with data to make interesting and sometimes surprising insights. Data science is all the rage these days, so it is definitely a hot field to get into. The work is also intellectually challenging.Can be difficult to balance analytic purity (follow proper statistical methods) with the demands of business and the reality of bad quality data. This can be frustrating."

  "I have worked as a Decision Analyst for 2 years at ZS Associates, which is a management consulting firm, to solve sales and marketing problems. At ZS, I worked on a combination of reporting, complex statistical analysis, customer journey analysis, sales-force sizing, data-driven experimentation, and predictive analytics projects with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Product, and R&D teams.
