"Good co-workers, fairly good product."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Things have changed a lot since I left, the company was sold for $20mil to Adlink, but my contacts there says things are worse, which surprises me. Be careful."

What don't you like about working at Ampro Industries?

"Products very hard to sell, even though I exceeded my quotas. Prices were high compared to other manufacturers, you had to find the right kind of customer otherwise you were blown out price-wise."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Invest in better engineering. Marketing should do a better job at defining market trends and defining requirements to engineering, not let engineering build what they think is cool."

"Not very customer sensitive. Over the last 10yrs Ampro has not technology leaders, but thought they were."

"Pick one market and focus on doing a good job. You need to rebuild Ampro's credibility after burning so many bridges."
