"A company you can stay with if you don't want to advance get some good experience for 2-5 years and then move on."

"No advancement within the company that I work for."

"I like the work environment as well as my coworkers and superiors. They allow me to create the process with very little direction, which I like."

"Please be yourself. The work environment away from the corporate office is business casual. Hard working crew but, they offer a good work/home balance."

What don't you like about working at American Water?

"I am not happy with the compensation and the responsibilities that I have been given. Once I created, tested and documented the process, it has become a data entry position."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I do leave the position, I suggest that my position be re-evaluated and possibly broken out to allow support as well as providing additional responsibilities."

"It's been too long for me to make any recommendations."

"Reasonable amount of Autonomy. Had total responsibility for all telecom aspects. Never had to wonder who did what or where info was. I did it all."

"Be prepared to go along with management decisions regardless of viability."

"Poor decision making by management and some degree of nepotism."

"I suggest leaping off the Clark Bridge spanning the MississippI at Alton, IL. they sell a product (water) that you will die without and they have no competition...otherwise they would be out of business."
