"Simple and straightforward and that's cool."

What do you like about working at American Kennel Club?

"It was a somber environment to work, but my immediate supervisor got jealous because that week, three days before Christmas of that year the Met Life CEO, baseball sportsman who loved my game Cricket, had lunch with me at my desk. We talked about sports most of the hour and she got jealous and gave me a bad report that gave her legal reasoning to fire me. I kept this report to this day. Most of the people I worked with were sensible and loved their jobs. One old guy who sits across my desk kept brown-nosing into my business and chatting nonsense all day."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"You must be in love with dogs; dog shows and pedigree dogs. Talk dog talk; worship dog food brands and literally live the lives of dogs, with all the fleas."

What don't you like about working at American Kennel Club?

"I did not like working in close quarters with disingenuous character like Mr. Townsend, a senior copy writer and musicologist."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management must stop this commonality of playing football with a person's time and effort. People do not get up on time to get to work 99% of the time and work until late for someone in management to undermine their work and their efforts. It's a common practice I am exposed to and disliked its practice because it demoralize the workplace."
