American College of Chest Physicians Employee

"1) Worse than the average case of employer disloyalty: CHEST employee terminations are announced by mass e-mail to all remaining employees, and employee meetings are held to explain how the terminated employees were so bad at their jobs. Terminations are frequent and sudden, with even the kindest and most dedicated employees vulnerable to CHEST's unproved efforts to destroy their reputations afterward. 2) CHEST is the subject of numerous allegations of discrimination, harassment, labor law violation, and wrongful termination. It has been audited and investigated multiple times. 3) Would you believe that as we face a pandemic of respiratory illness, CHEST's Board leadership has included someone known for habitually retweeting a COVID denier? It's true; you won't find the most esteemed medical professionals here. 4) Abysmal location in North Glenview, with goose feces ubiquitous around the office and a good convenience store or restaurant far, far away. 5) CHEST employees typically have a difficult time recovering professionally from negative experiences at CHEST, which are the norm rather than the exception. If you find yourself working here, your career has taken a wrong turn. 6) CHEST hires and directs staff to control Glassdoor reviews. In at least one case, they fired and bashed that staff person thereafter. 7) CHEST staff blamed Black PwC employee for his death at the hands of white police officer, and when informed about this, leadership took no action except to deny it ever happened. 8) Misery is widespread at CHEST."
