"The paycheck wasn't even worth the headache. This was absolutely the worst experience. Nothing positive to say."

"Run don't walk from this company! Do not bother unless you can not get work elsewhere."

What don't you like about working at Amedisys?

"Pay per visit compared with actual time worked is extremely poor. Long unpaid hours, reduntant and repetative documentation, too many managers and the right hand has no idea or even cares what the left hand is doing. Mileage reimbursement is what they think you should have driven and not what you actually drove. It is expected that you use your personal cell phone and you must answer calls at all hours, getting reimbursed for business calls is like a republican trying to get through Obama's congress. No reimbursement, they do not pay your bill or any part and dictate how your outgoing message is to sound and when you should have your phone on. Extremely political on all levels. Not concerned with patient care in the least exept staying out of court for malpractice. Horrible career experience. I will give up nursing before experiencing this again! What suggestions do you have for management?

"Re organize, rebuilld, restructure the whole company. Get rid of the stepford house wife mentality. If you ask your employees for input listen and don't berate and punish them because their input was not to your liking though professionally and appropriately stated."
