"Working for Altar’d state as a brand ambassador is great! The discounts are awesome, and the workload is easy. You come in, dive into your inner personal shopping diva self and then clock out. As a part of the management team....there is much to be desired. The pay is ok, but the hours aren’t. The hours fluctuate from 30 a week to 11 a week depending on the week and the mood of the scheduling manager. Which leaves no room to be available for another job but no income to support yourself on. The pressure is unreasonable. For a Christian based company they’re by far the least compassionate or understanding that I have ever worked for. To top it off, you will take your work home, and you will never get paid to work over time. Tech-wise; the systems are archaic and unreliable. If you’re looking to be an associate (brand ambassador) it won’t be bad! But otherwise, if you’re looking for a management job I would steer clear."
