What do you like about working at Allstate?
"My boss and my co-workers are great. Also, I enjoy helping people and making sure they understand what they are buying. I like explaining details and having others forma relationship with me and they trust me with their home and auto insurance."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You need to be more focused on customer service and not necessarily sales. There is a group of people who love the Allstate brand and they just need outstanding customer service to stay devoted to Allstate."
What don't you like about working at Allstate?
"Allstate as a company is struggling. The company is not allowing individual agents to grow their book of business. Allstate has raised rates 4 years in a row and it is hard to convince people they are buying the best when sometimes I don't always feel they are."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Work with the agents to help them grow the business, which would in turn strengthen Allstate as a whole. Raising rates and having the agents explain rate increases year after year is not allowing for an increase in business."

"Enjoyed the people contact as well as the challenge of meeting the insurance needs of the customer."

"This would be a good position for someone with no aspirations other than to do clerical work. I did not recognize any opportunities for growth."
What don't you like about working at Allstate?
"There was no training in company policy. The owner was seldom at the office."

"Be more active in the company and oversee the activities that are actually occurring."
"Great place to work. The benefits are great. Work hard and you will go far. There are schools in 17 different states so you can transfer or get promoted any where. Best of luck to you."
"Understaffed claims office, great people. Sadly, this company could be great if they didn't burn people out and move on."
