"I've worked for Alliant Insurance Services since March of 2019. Alliant provides a full suite of insurance solutions inclusive of Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits & Retirement. Unlike their competitors, Alliant is 53% owned by its employees, which helps them maintain the entrepreneurial and flexible work culture necessary for rapid adaption of industry innovations and evolving solutions. They are a vertically flat organization where all ideas can be heard, and employees are appreciated and rewarded for their efforts."

"Great experience for knowledge. Culture supports diversity. Many employees are friendly and caring. Pay is about 10-20K below average market depending on the roles. A lot unfairness across different departments. A lot of unspoken rules that prevent some employees advancing. High turn over rate. A great place to get your feet wet. If you have light experience, this is a great place to start and you will learn a ton. Internal promotion does happen however you pay on average will be 10-20K lower than the employees hired directly from outside. Pay increase for each employee is similar across the board so if you are an internally promoted employee, you'd work 10 more years to get to the same pay as the start pay of someone hired directly from outside. Hence the high turn-over rate."

"I felt that management did not have my back, and would throw me under the bus."

"Listen more to the employees as opposed to the producers."

"I liked to work at Alliant because it is a fast paced business and always kept me on my toes, met a lot of different types of people in the industry, and learned an exceptional amount of information about group benefits that not only helped me in the workplace but in my life decisions as well."

"Present a detailed enough summary to get your point across without making it long, dress professionally, don't be nervous or afraid to ask questions back, and show proper edicate"

"What I didn't like is that sometimes the Brokers would not do well and would take out their frustrations on us."
