"To try to advise the District Managers that customers wants to see more prices go down and more affordable."

"Be prepared to wear many different hats, as appropriate with the situation you are dealing with. Loss Prevention must be well versed in many different disciplines (HR, Safety/Risk, Accounting, Ops, Merchandising, Transportation, Data/IT, physical security, governmental interactions, etc.)"
What don't you like about working at Albertsons?
"There was little opportunity to progress beyond the current position. Resources were good, but our department was under utilized and we were in the process of emerging into new areas of responsibilities (shrink) when the division was divested."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Albertson's merged with Lucky stores. Albertson's was inflexible in its management style and our division, under Lucky, was netting $25M a quarter in profit. After our first qtr as Albertsons, we saw that drop to $8M net profit and the third qtr we were in the red and stayed their ever since. We all are excited when our company makes money and discouraged when it doesn't. Albertson's executive management should give that flexibility to allow the individual store managers to run their stores to cater to the community they serve, rather than have a strict merchandising plan-o-gram with a uniform product assortment."

"What I like about Albertsons is that most employees there are really friendly and they help you out when you're new."

"Don't get your hopes up to try to get promoted fast."
What don't you like about working at Albertsons?
"What I don't like about Albertsons is that they make you get carts outside when is really hot and theres times they want us to stay outside for a full hour and it's really tiring for us."

"I would not have favorites and I would only promote the people that do work hard, not the ones that try to suck up to me."
