"Negotiate as much money as you can since you'll be locked in for the long haul."

What don't you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"No incentive to remain with the company for an extended period of time - you get locked into a low pay bracket and you're there indefinitely. No incentive to move up or into another role since you won't get paid commensurate with others in the same role."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay your sales professionals fairly and on time and you'll see results you desire."

What do you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"The original concept was that you were your own boss of your own area of responsibility (i.e. the HP Garage concept). You owned it, you were responsible for it."

What don't you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"Constant talk about getting rid of the test group and completely outsourcing all coding and test to China. Discussion was how you were expendable and what you needed to do to teach your replacement how to do your job responsibilities."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Understand the reason that an internal house exists, and encourage the employees. Tell them that they are needed to provide the best product available."

"Great people to work with. Family type of atmosphere."

"Don't bother. This company will stab you in the back despite portraying that they care about their employees."

"Hewlett-Packard came in and screwed everything up. Working processes were broken. Clueless on what they had and what was needed."

"RESIGN you idiots!"

"Ask about career advancement opportunities. What would it take to change or improve a certain policy. If cost savings mean reduce power and footprint in Asia operations (contract out to other companies) how do you get support."

What don't you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"Career opportunity is disappearing fast for US employees. Most advancements are abroad. Top management are good in communication, however, you will not know when you will be on the chopping block. MBO and MBWA have left the culture and been replaced by MBE (manage by escalations - saving once behind). Arrogant in NPI, slow in making things happen, scar of outside the box in supply chain idea."

"They are busy making their golden parachute - the culture is lost."
