"I've worked for Agilent since 2005 and seen a lot of changes as the organization has adjusted its market focus from life science research to pre-clinical and clinical marketplaces. Overall it's a good company to work for. At times it can honestly be frustrating in dealing with the entropy that needs to be overcome to do anything innovative. Be ready for a challenge if you're looking to be a change agent. Migration of R&D/Engineering/Mfg jobs off shore is a concern to be aware of."

What do you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"I like the accomplishments I made for my organization and I loved working with my co-workers and direct management team. I learned a lot."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you get an interview, be confident, identify the qualities you think/know they are looking for that you have and why you will make a difference. Explain your value add to the company."

What don't you like about working at Agilent Technologies?

"At a high corporate level, I was just a number among hundreds of thousands of workers after we acquired EDS, and it was not a good career builder working in the Northeast. People in CA and TX had more growth potential."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"No. They are into the cut and slash mode and nothing long term works out with that, but they make a great little computer!"
