"Be sure you know the personality type of your manager and that you are compatible. Bad managers can make your life hell."
What don't you like about working at The Advisory Board Co.?
"The internal tools that were required for the job were undocumented and difficult to use. The developers were not available to explain how to use them. There was very little collaboration."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would ask the employees for their suggestions for improvement. Senior employees were hired but never asked to contribute to the establishment of processes. The boss was controlling and insecure. She was threatened by those with more experience in her field and undermined them."
