Senior Application Developer

"Been at ADOT for just under a year now. It's a quiet place and strongly silo'd, but the people are easy to get along and work with, and management is working on bringing better team interaction. We have been working with newer technologies, and there is a push to uplift some of the older more entrenched devs into the present technology-wise. My only real complaints can be traced back to this being a government position, funding for projects and tools can be hard to obtain, and I understand upward mobility, or even simple salary increases are somewhat hard to come by. FTE benefits are great, though getting converted from contractor to FTE is a somewhat long and involved process."
