"Adobe is going through major changes; They tend to burn through people; they have have regular restructuring layoffs every year around Nov/Dec. While Adobe has a great name, middle management and career development is less inspiring than the creative tools they produce. In some areas, Adobe is out-innovated by smaller leaner companies. When Adobe can't compete, they just buy the company. If one were working in the Omniture or Acrobat Business units, I think one would be secure."

Adobe Employee

"I worked for Adobe for 6 1/2 years and saw the organizations corporate culture decline markedly. From a collaborative environment where individual achievement was lauded and individuals were eager to work together to an environment where political connections were more important and unless you had the properly filled and approved paperwork, even staples were difficult to obtain. This may not be true of the entire organization, but within the IT organization it certainly was."

"Working as a senior manager in sales operations at Adobe has been a good experience. The company culture is very welcoming and supportive. The salary and benefits package are competitive and ensure a good work-life balance. The only downside is the workload can be demanding at times, but the management is supportive in providing necessary resources to complete the work."
