"I love to teach, I love to learn, but the schedule is very frustrating. One quarter you could be teaching five classes and the next only two."
"Helping students learn is very rewarding. I do not like teaching though. I dream is to do design, create websites, and be an employee where I can work on projects as a team. Being an instructor I feel like I will eventually get planted there and fall into the quote Those who cannot do, teach. I design very well and I want to be able to grow upon it."

"I love to see all my students accomplishing all their work by themselves and getting good grades. It makes me happy as an Instructor. The most important thing for me is to respect each other and all my students are very respectful to me as well as I am to them. It makes me happy to help not only my students but my co-workers as well. The only thing I hate about this job is being a part time. There is nothing else but it's being a part-time job."

"I like working at a Community College. There us a lot of freedom."

"This is a Community College, I would suggest having three references ready."

"Some students are not serious or attentive. Otherwise, I like working at the college."

"Hire appropriate individuals that know what their strengths and weaknesses are."

"I get to teach, but beyond that it's not supportive and the university doesn't really care about the students or faculty."

"Only take a job here if you are starting out and can live at home with mom and dad for a year while you gain teaching experience."
What don't you like about working at Fairleigh Dickinson University?
"The pay. If added up, an adjunct can make a maximum of $15,000 per year, but only if they worked more hours than the full time faculty."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire more full time professors. The adjunct to full-time ratio is about as bad as it can get and demonstrates a lack of respect or care for both the students and the teachers."

"I would ensure that you have a Ph D. and funding already."
