What do you like about working at Abbott Laboratories?

"Management will allow you to voice your opinion. Good place work. A good place to grow. Abbott gave me a chance to grow and I did. When I worked for Abbott I believed in doing my best for anyone needing my help. Your life at Abbott can be good. I left on my own terms."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest."

What don't you like about working at Abbott Laboratories?

"I cannot speak for others. The place I was working was changing, management changed and made decisions I didn't agree with. I'm sure if I gave up my pride, I could have worked things out. I cannot say anything bad about Abbott. People leaving Abbott may had bad experiences, in my opinion, people have a chance to speak up and try to work out their differences. I worked for Abbott for 10 years. If people understand as times change, business may change, changes can be good for you or bad. The decision to leave is a personal one, but I cannot blame Abbott. For years, my experience was good."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have an open mind. Be willing to admit mistakes. When new management is installed, they are quick to make changes without considering others. I know everyone should do what they are told to do. I believe people all make mistakes. I believe a good manager can mistake their mistakes or adjust their decision by the situation. If you want employees to be honest and be hard workers, managers should do the same for their employees"
