"The people I worked with in the field"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't waste your time. They will only bleed you of many good years of your life. Just look at what they are trying to the retirees and their benefits. 30 years of promises and that is the thanks we loyal employees get. Xerox is not interested in you or your family just their bottom line. The days of Xerox being a great company to work for are long gone as are the people who made it great and now all that is left is the pantie waste."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"Xerox does not practice what they preach. It is only now that I am no longer with Xerox that I can speak freely. Xerox management intimidates the employees when there are surveys. Management has a habit of forgetting promises and harassing employees who do not tow the company line even if it is the truth. Some of the people in management don't care who they hurt in order to get ahead."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Clean up their ACT, because it is an act. Customers only come first when it is in Xerox interests."

"When they ask you to sell this pen - what they mean is ask Are the the decision maker and How many locations might need this pen. Always write a personal hank you letter after the interview."

"Beligerant Roman style management including insults and threats. Management's refusal to allow sufficient communication and documentation between design engineers to do the job."

"Listen to your software designers and stop trying to turn cheap acquisitions into robust products on a short schedule. Take the time to test the product thouroughly during development."

"When a person is interviewing for a position at Xerox be very professional."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"What I did not like about working at Xerox is, I was a contractor, an I was promised to be hired as a regular employee. Well a new law took, that no matter how good you are, you can not be a contractor long that 18 months... So I got laid off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The suggestions I have for management is, tell a regular or contract employee, tell what is expected of them up front. If the position is possible for permanent let the employee know."
