"More communication, less micro-managing, they really need to listen to their employees and be more flexible with scheduling, more support staff is needed to meet customer needs."

"I like the fact that I get to meet new people."

"Know a lot about the department you are going to be working in as well as where the other departments are located."

"I only make minimum wage, and higher up tend to neglect the needs of their associates."

"I would pay the sales associates better than minimum wage."

"The company had good technical assistance for customer service, and simple bonuses but satisfying."

"The age discrimination act was not recognized, it is all about the bottom line and large bonuses for management"
What don't you like about working at JC Penney?
"The company I started working with was macromanagement, no accountibility, issues based on assumptions and gossip. Management was a merry go round, tools set were not used properly."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Since only working for NEW CEO couple of months, it is unfortunate that due to economics and drastic changes and having to get RID, FIRE, TERMINATE, LAYOFF, OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH SENIORITY, AND DEPARTMENTS; for him to take MILLIONS of dollars at the end of the year; would have been my method."

"Meeting customers and companies expectations. Products, merchandise and services. Administrative duties, policies and procedures."

"Labor work and responsibilities are plentifull, however, advancement are possible."

"No full time positions, not great benefits, no consistent polocies."

"More accountibility, and build employee loyalty through companies committment to employees."

"instead of asking the managers questions ask the employees what you really need to know"

"The need to only be organized and perfect when the corporate side of the company came to visit the store, everyone is on pins and needles. the store should stay organized all the time"

"If I was the Ceo of Royal Farms I would pay more attention to the employees in the field and take more suggestions from them"

"Customer service needs to be your passion. If you don't want to help the customer, you won't enjoy the job much and you won't interview as well as you should."

"Currently at least my location is limiting hours worked by their associates. I would be happier if I could work full time."

"A time clock that allows us to see what the current time is would be highly appreciated."

"I liked the people whom I worked with at Lowe's. Most of them were team players and it felt like a big family."

"I would advise anyone interviewing for Lowe's to be open to different cultures and views, because they are going to be coming into contact with many different types of people."

"I didn't like that a lot of people were more into others' personal lives than focusing on their own jobs."

"I would suggest that management hold more people accountable for their actions."

"I get to interact with people and assist them with their needs. It makes me feel good knowing I helped someone better manage their finances."

"This is a sales-driven environment, and if you are a people person, that's a great asset, however, persuasion and confidence plays a major role, if you are trying to work with them and grow within the company."
What don't you like about working at Bank of America?
"The media has brought on a negative impact of banks and working in the banking center, I have received negative reactions from the customers. Even though I know they are personally upset with me, it's just difficult when they lash out because of actions that our corporate officials may have implemented."

"Seeking out a new way of referring products to the customers and making their retail banking center staff feel more at ease when doing their jobs."

"I enjoy the selling and customer aspects. Great knowledgeable service can develop into continual relationships."

"Lowe's is good for managers and above, but terrible for associates and specialists."
What don't you like about working at Lowe's?
"I dislike excessive management, all with conflicting concepts of duties. It is difficult to focus on primary responsibility. Slogans and visions are words on the wall, really for top tier management as tools to drive the workforce."

"I would suggest less management tiers, and support associates sincerely. The pay rates reflect the company's contempt for skilled labor and take advantage of excessive (available) unemployed workers."
