"I've worked for Zulily for about 2 years. The work is good for the first 6-12 months but at times become repetitive and there is not much opportunity to develop new skills. A good amount of an engineer's time is spent firefighting and very little time to do other things so if you are looking for a challenge, it can be quite frustrating. On the upside, work-life balance is tremendous and managers/supervisors are very considerate and flexible."

"Zulily is a fast paced, fast growing company that is aggressively changing the way conventional online retail is done. Zulily prides itself on always showing the best products at an even better value, but the attention to the product has left a void in employee growth and attention. The fast paced environment and attention to the bottom line has made it difficult for management to focus on employee training and advancement and most lower level assistants get pushed to the side."
