"Everything is great, especially free food."
"They suck. Like, they really, really, really suck."
"I worked for Yahoo Inc 2007 – 2014. I found the company to treat its employees very well. Yahoo Inc. is an American multinational Internet corporation headquartered in Sunnyvale, California."
"Yahoo! was a great place to work until they started to get obsessed with quarterly reviews. They are so focused on results-oriented metrics and hiring younger and younger people that they're letting a lot of good, experienced, talented people go. There is no focus, and dwindling morale among the employees."
"Yahoo was a great place to work. They treat their employees great. (At least until they lay them off...)"
"It was a great place to work. The sheer scale of Yahoo was staggering at first, but they have great tools that are always evolving. Definitely worth checking into."
"Was great working at Yahoo. I feel that was part of my family and household. I like the environment and working with fun and positive people."
"It's pretty good. I have been working at Yahoo for 6+ years and everything has been great."
"They do not provide external-references, and censor internal employees from doing so to interns as a corporate policy, but they will not tell you this as part of internship recruiting. Also, they will hire out the position you interned for to someone else if you decide to finish school and not pursue a part-time role there while in school. Then by the time you graduate, you're brick-walled with a hiring freeze for the team you were on, while the management you worked with moves on to other parts of the company. Again, they will not tell you this, as part of internship recruiting. Yahoo overall isn't a bad company, and I wanted to continue to work for them, but the internship was an almost total net loss, and it has been very harmful to my career due to corporate policies. And no, I was not fired, and I was told that I did a good job by all those who supervised me."
"I've worked for Yahoo for more than 4 years. The glass ceiling is very clear for a non-headquarters office like Burbank. Benefits are excellent and culture is strong. If you drink the cool aid, you'll have a great time and learn a lot. If you see past the purple, you'll recognize some of the inefficiencies of working there."
