"Had a manager that was very obsessive and a micromanager. Employees were too afraid to say anything because its a family run company and all the managers are family. President brags about having an open door policy but who is going to go complain about his son to him? Manager would text us while we were driving home every time someone called the "emergency" tech line. The Houston team was on site and had to support tickets, network and basically everything while they tried to do a little as possible from Baltimore. The Houston company got off at noon, but On-Site employees were expected to work and take calls until 4:30 (5:30 eastern Time) if you can imagine that culture. Basically not a part of the company since they fired all of the in-house IT. If you are in Baltimore, I would say it’s probably a way better situation as they don’t have users walking up all the time. Basically expected to run a service desk job and do network admin at the same time."
