"Working for the Department of Transportation has been rewarding in the ability to learn test procedures, researching ideas that may become a new procedure, communicating with project staff and management. Like any job, working at the DOT has had many ups and downs. I have worked through those downs and learned from them. Working for the DOT is not for everyone however, those that are able to work for the DOT tend to stay with the DOT until they retire."
