"The design industry recommended CAD Layer Guidelines were consistently followed at this firm, resulting in optimal electronic drawing effeciency. Great emphasis was put on learning and implementing all of the capabilities of the CAD software in order to manage each project as effeciently as possible. This was an ideal beginning for my career in this field."

"Be prepared to learn everything you did not learn in school about CAD drafting standards and about the intricate power of the CAD software. You will be expected to produce flawless work and this knowledge will benefit you for the rest of your career."
What don't you like about working at Wingler & Sharp Architects & Planners?
"This was a very small firm, and, although standards were extremely high, the income was not. The office itself was a ramshackle old house converted to an office and not pleasant to be in."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Provide CAD designer/drafters a more suitable compensation and upgrade office to provide well-lit, professional surroundings."
