"Be honest and don't interview unless you are willing to put in 3-4 years before you get a significant payoff."

"The compensation relative to the high cost of living in Seattle was just not enough. Also, the sales cycle could be anywhere from 3 months to 5 years."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A higher base pay to retain quality sales people should be offered becasue the ramp up time was 3-4 years to achieve a decent income."
