"Employee and patient centric. WMC is a Planetree Hospital."

What don't you like about working at Windber Medical Center?

"The perception that others have of the organization. I believe it is viewed as a small organization that cannot compete technically on larger scale. This is completely misleading, we have state of the art and cutting edge technology that some of the bigger city hospitals have yet to deploy. We specialize in Bench to Bed Medicine with our Research Institute and we are leaders in innovation. Unfortunately, some still see Windber as Bedrock, USA which could not be further from the truth."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep doing what you are doing because it is working."
