"HR staff are very warm and friendly which can be misleading if you are a people-person. Ask about challenges in the department you are interviewing for & how long the department lead has been with the firm."

"Huge campus with very small staff so strong feeling of disconnectedness. Small work groups managing enormous workloads so no sense of a larger community. Very separatist vibe between departments."

"Stop the turn over! Too many people coming and going with no sense of history or continuity, too much change. Old-timers are snobbish; senior management doesn't get along; new comers find it hard to invest in or develop loyalty for an organization that has no heart."

"I have worked in Wind River since 2010. It is a company with strong technology background. As a leader in embedded OS field, it invented things that is widely used. It also provides employer chances to learn and improve."
"I had two stints with WRS so I obviously didn't find the company or environment disagreeable, and would consider joining again if the right position were available in a local office. My peers, managers, and the technical resources available to me were always first rate. The downside for me personally, was that the company is big, bureaucratic, and in general, one will not have many opportunities to move up within the company."

I had various roles in the 7+ years I was there, everything from tools development, to lab maintenance, project management and release engineering.
