"Ask for details about a career path. What other areas on campus does the position you're interviewing for affect How many people does this position interact with on a daily average How are priorities handled and how are those priorities publicized to those you'll interact with"

What don't you like about working at Willamette University?

"Willamette is what you make of it and most don't make much of it at all. Folks tend to know what they have to do to get through the day and collect a paycheck. They are resistant to learn or alter their routine without some sort of incentive. There is no inspiration or rejuvenation of spirit."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Create a system of accountability. Develop metrics to compare peer employees/divisions/departments. Require collaboration with milestones and goals. Plan."
