"I've worked for Wakefern/Shoprite for over 15 years. The company has gone through a big transformation by integrating data/analytics more so than previous forms of intuition/basic knowledge to maximize their growth. It has been troublesome, as the industry has many skeptics of this integration. It has placed a lot of pressure on operational level associates, most importantly those caught in the middle."

"Wakefern is truly one of those companies where you really do retire there. While that is something great, the culture is very old because of it. Not exactly what I expected coming in and I realized I was not a good fit for that culture. Very slow to change and very objective to new technology. Maybe if they were able to give the new hires a better voice things might change."
