"The Dak Group is a local boutique middle-market investment bank based in Bergen County NJ. I joined their team in 2017 with a strong desire to diversify my M&A experience and learn about other business segments of the economy. Starting in 2019, the spectrum of M&A deals was slowing down and only restructuring arm was active. Due to the lack of significant activity, I made a decision to leave the team. Overall, the business is comprised of a very small team. There is some lack of sophistication when it comes to applying various valuation models and utilizing CRM."
