Director of Operations

What do you like about working at Visteon?

"I worked for Visteon Corporation not the Aftermarket Operations. Visteon spun off from Ford Motor Company in 1999 when all of the component plants except Engine division and transmissions became Visteon Corporation."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Select another company as this organization is now in Chapter 11 and really does not have a great future in the automotive supplier industry."

What don't you like about working at Visteon?

"The major issue with the company is that the Corporate leaders were brought in from LEAR corporation in 2005 after the prior corporate leaders left the organization. These new leaders did not have a moral compass and demonstrated a lack of complete integrity in their decisions and approach to the operations. Also, they showed a heavy bias for their LEAR coworkers who they brought into the organization regardless of their skills or ability."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Step back and look at the big picture which shows Zero profit since 1999, and yet they continue to collect compensation levels of 6 to 8 million per year. This is a real problem to demonstrate this type of behavior and is not motivating the organization."
