What do you like about working at Vista del Mar Hospital?

"I enjoyed the continuum of care offered that was allowing clients to be admitted to acute phase and stabilize and go into other programs that were appropriate for their clinical needs without having to change to an entirely diffferent setting. This allowed patients to bond with staff and clinicians which minimized stress and allowed the trust to be beneficial in allowing treatment by the various clinicians."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It is quite important to learn as much as possible about the mission, vision, goals of the company. Undertand and know the players and how things run and currently operate. Know what you can provide and what enviornment you are best suited for."

What don't you like about working at Vista del Mar Hospital?

"Bureaucratic issues were my main complaint,. The company was going through top level senior management issues and made it difficult to establish consistency. Many of the providers of care have also been at this facility for so many years that it made it difficult to change systems of care. or any organizational improvements. Too many physicians had ego involvement and made offering of chaange and innovation difficult."
