What do you like about working at VF Corp.?

"Good pay, relaxed dress code, interesting work, direct manager competent."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If interviewing in Lugano, spell everything out in the contract - type of car, exact scope of relocation, salary and currency. HR sometimes goes against hiring manager and makes final offer substantially different than agreed with hiring manager ( e.g., you agree on 100,000 per year, HR sends a contract stating CHF 100,000)."

What don't you like about working at VF Corp.?

"Horrible working conditions, buildings not suitable for concentrated work (bare concrete walls and ceilings, no carpet, loud coworkers name for a headache inducing noise level. Air conditioning does not work, winter the heat is cranked up so everyone sits in t-shirts. Coffee mugs have to be washed in one of two unisex bathrooms. Managers have to use punch clocks like 18th century factory workers. HR hires incompetent people who do not speak English (the official company language)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Can only speak for European CEO - would start communicating with people, get out of the ivory tower, see how bad the working conditions are and listen to everyone (not just fellow Italians)."
