"The Company was bought out and the direction changed for the worst."

"The biggest tip would be to provide training and not being thrown into a buzz-saw situation to learn a new application."

"No role for me. Blue Pumpkin was acquired and I was to hire my replacement (country manager). I was not told what my role would be after I did the job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Assess not just what an employee is doing now, but what s/he is capable of. Often people are not used to their full potential. Promote people if you see great potential. I had sold over 15,000 licenses in my company in the year, yet no one saw my role in sales or business development. I was the best sales guy and manager in Blue Pumpkin 2 years in a row. Yet I was asked to hire my replacement since the strategy dictated that international should not be sold from US. After this happened, sales in my region went to a few hundred licenses from 15,000. And I was not asked to take up the next possible challenge... A Wall Street company picked me to sell investment management for much more money..."

"The corporate NASDAQ issues should be fixed prior to any candidate seriously considering the company as an employer."

"New releases and SW fixes were too slow which was upsetting to the customer. NASDAQ delisting.. was a huge customer distraction in the sales process."
