What do you like about working at Ventech Engineers?

"The blue collar people. The people that actually get the workdone, and keep this place in business. They vacation and sick time. they match up to 6% for 401k if they have a good year."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Only use this place as a stepping stone because it's not some where you want to stay. If your going into management get ready for lots of confusion. Since we have a new HR manager she may be more strick about requirements. Overall if you get an interview you' ll get the job."

What don't you like about working at Ventech Engineers?

"Management is lazy, there is no accountability for managers what so ever. health benefits are available but not worth it unless you are terminally ill. Vacation /sick time is normal if you can become a direct employee. HR manager was horrible they hired a new one she seems to be doing well. the previous HR manager is now employee relations. very high turn around, if you think your job is safe think again. absolutly no incentives to do a good job. They don't give out raises, even if you know you're underpaid, therefore they don't do employee evaluations even if you ask for one. Believe me I've tried."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to clean house in management, just because someone has been here for 20 years doesn't mean they are beneficial. reward your employees! Not just at christmas parties when it's random people."
