"I've worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation since 2010. Working here was my ultimate dream since all of my dad's friends worked at VDOT and spoke of their experiences often. I have enjoyed all of the projects that I have had the privilege of working on. They have provided me with extensive training for every role that I have had. This training has allowed me to receive promotions continuously. They have also put me in the awkward moments to help me to come out of my shell and grow. I would never have imagined this amount of growth in nine years."

"As a consultant it is relaxed and enjoyable and I am learning new things about the transportation world."

"It is a good place to work if you can get into a position, people seem to stay for years."

What don't you like about working at Virginia Department of Transportation?

"Nothing, I am a contractor and only exposed to certain parts of the agency. It is a state agency that I am a contractor for."

"That is hard to say because I am a contractor and not an actual state employee for VDOT"

"ARG was a great place to start my career in consulting. I was able to have freedom on the clients I prospected."
