"I’ve been with Vanderbloemen Search Group for just over a year. We are a boutique firm that employs 30 people at the moment, though we seem to be hiring someone new every month. I can’t count how often someone in our office spontaneously says, "I love my job," including myself! Our company culture is collaborative, challenging, fun, and supportive. We even have a set of defining company values: Broadband Love, Unusual Servanthood, Wow-making Excellence, Ridiculous Responsiveness, Solution-side Living, Ever-increasing Agility, Stewardship of Life, Constant Improvement, and Contagious Fun. We have a wide variety of different personalities on our team and all of them are accepted and valued for their individual strengths. This environment of striving to be the best at what we do because we love doing it is tangible throughout the office. Every individual is committed to making the company stronger, from the interns to the C-level executives. Our team is not simply content with the status quo, and we constantly look for ways to challenge conventional wisdom and improve our processes. From monthly planned events together, to team coffee breaks, to eating lunch and laughing together, our culture is one of both working hard and enjoying each other’s company. There are other unique perks and benefits present, such as a great margin for working off-site and vacation time, generous HSA contribution matching, a monthly gym stipend, fun group outings and company events, and an office dog! This commitment to people within our team spills out into the community as well. We bring our values of Broadband Love, Unusual Servanthood, and Contagious Fun to volunteer projects in our city, such as helping a local church with the remodeling of a new property, or a Christmas toy drive for a local nonprofit serving the homeless in our community. We all find real value and meaning in the work that we do everyday beyond the monetary aspect or merely having a job."
