"I worked for Valspar for a little over 2 years in the consumer paint division. I did not have a traditional role as a Chemist at Valspar. Coworkers were all very friendly and helpful with an aim to make sure people learned. Corporate culture is not overly flexible which can make for work/life balance stresses."

"I worked to complete, on a truncated timetable, the SOX IT Audit controls by October 31st. These controls were completed early with the help of my great team. Unfortunately, upon completion, they laid off a significant portion of us including the IT Audit group. I enjoyed my time there and understand it's business. I was provided a decent separation package and I am now looking for my next adventure!"
